Hello everyone,
Merry late christmas to everyone. We had a wonderful christmas this past week. We went up to a couple of our friends Ben and Andrea in Salt lake to have dinner with them on christmas eve. We had a wonderful time. We had an even better christmas morning. We got tons of great presents. My wonderful wife--knowing how much I loved the smallville tv series--got me the seventh season on dvd and a quesadilla maker. I got her a gold plate that had together forever sealed with love and a picture of the temple engraved on it. I also got her a minature christus statue. She'd been telling me for quite some time now how much she wanted one of those. We also got a bunch of movies from my in-laws. We also got a couple of stockings filled with a lot of goodies in them from my mother-in-law. We then went to my parents' house and spent the day with them. We had a huge family christmas party the following day where all of my siblings came over for gift exchange. My sister Tori gave me and Dorie a gift card to Cinemark and to Del taco. We then made saturday a date night by using our gift cards to first go see bedtime stories and then had dinner at Del Taco. So all in all, our first christmas together as a married couple went great. We're still looking forward to our one year anniversary next month. It will be the 5th of January. It has been a great first year as a married couple and we're looking forward to many more. Well, that's all I have for this week.

Hello everyone,
Things have gotten really busy this week. But I can safely say that I have finally finished all of my christmas shopping. We got another christmas package from my mother-in-law this morning with more christmas decorations. We were really excited. I'm really excited for this christmas since it will be our first christmas together as a married couple. It's nice to have our own christmas tree and have our own presents under it to. I can't wait to see Dorie unwrap her presents and see her smile. It's kind of crazy to think that last year, we were trying to plan christmas and our wedding at the same time. It's really nice to not be so stressed this year to. We went to our ward christmas party last night. I would definitely have to say that my wife is really getting baby hungry now. She had to hold every baby that she could see at the party. It will definitely be exciting when we finally start our own family. Well, that's all I have for this week.

Hello again everyone,
Sorry I missed my weekly blog last week. I've been really busy with finals. Most of you will understand how that is. I only have one more final this friday and then I'll finally be done for the semester. I'm just glad to say that I'm finally done with all my christmas shopping. I bought a couple of presents for my wife the other day and that's all I needed to do. Last saturday, we went to the ogden temple with my grandma to see her sealed to my grandpa. I also got to see my mom sealed to both of them. That was really awesome. We also finally got called to work in the nursery in our ward. It's been a lot of hard work. But we've been loving it all the same. We'll just be glad when the business of the season will finally be over. Then we can finally get some decent rest. Well, that's all I have for this week. Till next week.

Hello again everyone,
I am just now starting to realize just how fast this year is flying by. It doesn't seem too long ago that 2008 began. This semester is especially flying by fast. Finals are only in a couple of weeks. Anyway, me and Dorie have finally started decorating our apartment. It looks really nice with all the christmas decorations hanging around it. I have all the photos posted to my facebook page. We just put up our christmas tree wednesday night. We put up all of our lights yesterday. We borrowed most of them from the lady dorie babysits for. Her and her family are leaving for California for christmas so they let us borrow it since they won't be using them this year. I also realized that me and my wife have been married for exactly 11 months today. I can't believe that next month will be our one year anniversary. Time really does fly when you're married. Well, that's all I have this week.

This week has been a fun one. We had a great thanksgiving. We went with the lady that Dorie babysits for and her family to her aunt's house for thanksgiving. I got stuffed. We had a lot of fun and ate some great food. We also got a new bed. It's way comfortable and we've had a comfortable night's rest every night since we got it. We also got our christmas pictures taken. I posted them to my facebook account if anyone wants to see it. I decided to use this week's blog to list all the things I'm thankful for.
1. My family
2. To have been born and raised in the gospel by righteous parents who honor their temple covenants.
3. My wonderful wife who I love more than anything in the world.
4. Our temple marriage and the knowledge that we'll be together for all eternity.
5. To know that our children will be sealed to us for eternity.
6. My testimony of the restored gospel.
7. The fact that we have a living prophet to guide us.
That's it for this week everyone. I hope you all remember how much you all have been blessed and take the opportunity to write down what you're thankful for.

Hello again everyone,
This week has been an interesting one. My wife has been sick all week. First she had a cold, and now her tummey isn't feeling good. I'm hoping this means that she's pregnant while she keeps telling me to shush. She's only been off her birth control shot for a few weeks and it's supposed to be about 3 months before she gets her period back. But the last time she missed her shot, she got her period back within a month. So, we'll just have to wait and see. Me and wife also just got done going to see twilight this morning. I have to say it was one of the best movies ever. I didn't read the books but wife just finished the fourth one. She said the movie followed the first one really well. What's funny is, every time I'm around babies now, I become more baby hungry. My wife's been the same way to. It will be great when we finally have kids. Well, that's it for this week. I hope you all are having a fine week.

Hello everyone,
This is my first time doing this so please bear with me if this seems stupid. To first introduce myself, my name is Adam but I go by Jake since it's my middle name. One thing I do have to warn everyone, a lot of these blogs will not only include all of my weekly experiences but I do like to include spiritual experiences to. I've had so many in my life I can't help but share it with others. My wife feels the same way. I've been married for 10 months now to my beautiful wife Dorie. She is everything I could've asked for in a wife. You see, I met her right after I had broken up with my ex-girlfriend. I was very crushed after I broke up with my ex. We had planned to get married in may of 2008. But, our relationship had come to a point where we knew we couldn't make each other truly happy. Even though I loved her more than anything in the world, I wanted her to be happy. So I decided to make the ultimate sacrifice and let her go so she could find someone who would make her happy. I met my wife 2 weeks later on ldssingles.com. Yes, it actually does work. After a few months, we fell in love. We then both decided to pray about it to find out if this is what was perfect for us. We both received a yes answer that we were meant to be married. Most importantly, I received my answer while I was working in the temple one night. We were married 3 months later. This has by far been the best choice in my life. I am so grateful to know that I'll be with my wife forever. Even more importantly, the last few months we've been feeling the presence of our kids while we've been in the temple. We feel very strongly that it's almost time for them to come into our lives. I want a girl while my wife wants a boy. Either way, I'll just be happy to be a dad. But that's pretty much what's been going on with us. I promise to write more next week.
